Ryan Cherki had been absent for six weeks due to a thigh injury, which was frustrating for the French star who scored in his first match against Wolverhampton.
Ryan Cherki praised his coach Pep Guardiola in statements published by "Manchester Evening News": "He is absolutely fantastic and mad like me—two crazy men, we talk about everything, it's incredible."
He added: "Football is my entire life. I enjoy it, sleep it, and bathe in it. We have a great team and we want to win all the games. We do not want to repeat what happened in our last game against Villa."
He continued: "I feel very comfortable because it’s simple with these players; we speak the same language, so we enjoy when we are on the field."
He concluded: "I feel very good, I was injured for a long period and am very happy to be back, I worked hard with the physiotherapist to return quickly and am very happy about it and playing with my teammates.
