Khaberni - British Prince William and his wife Kate won a privacy case against the French magazine "Paris Match" for publishing photos taken by professional photographers of them and their children on a private vacation, according to a notice published by the magazine today, Thursday.

It is well-known that William, the eldest son of King Charles and the heir to the throne, fiercely defends his family's privacy when they are not engaged in official duties.

According to "Reuters", this is the second time the royal couple has succeeded in suing a French magazine, after another magazine, "Closer", published photos of Kate in 2012.

The proceedings against "Paris Match" began last April, just days after it published photos of the family in the Alps.

A spokesperson for Kensington Palace said: "The Prince and Princess of Wales are committed to protecting their private family time and ensuring that their children grow up without undue scrutiny and intrusion."

William, who is 43 years old, has not hidden his dislike for the media following the death of his mother, Princess Diana, in a car accident in Paris in 1997, when her car was fleeing frantically from pursuing intrusive photographers.

The magazine did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and published the legal notice today, indicating that it violated the due respect for the private life of the family and the family's rights related to its photos.
