Khaberni - The Israeli Channel 12 reported, citing American officials, that the United States wants to involve Turkey in the international force in the Gaza Strip despite Israel's opposition.
It added that plans for forming the international force are currently being refined and will be presented to Israel and the Arab countries within a few weeks.
The Israeli officials are apprehensive and skeptical because they have no control over the international force in Gaza," said the officials.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his absolute rejection of Turkey's participation in any security arrangements or international forces in the Gaza Strip under President Donald Trump's plan, stating that the entry of Turkish forces into the sector is a "red line" for Israel.
