Khaberni - Professor Dr. Rana Obaidat, General Manager of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration, inspected the administration's office at the E-Commerce and Expedited Shipping Customs Center in the Jordan Post Company building in Al-Muqabaleen, during an unexpected field visit, aiming to review the workflow and the services provided.
During the tour, Obaidat reviewed the joint operation and the procedures implemented by the administration's representatives in coordination with the relevant regulatory and official bodies, to ensure the safety and security of parcels containing food, drugs, and medical supplies arriving through expedited shipping companies, ensuring the smoothness of customs procedures and helping to reduce the time and effort for the service recipients.
Obaidat directed the administration's representatives to expedite the procedures and enhance the efficiency of the services provided while ensuring the highest safety and security standards, according to the latest international specifications and best practices in regulating e-commerce. She also discussed with the administration's staff ways to enhance support and empowerment to improve their performance at the highest efficiency levels to achieve the administration’s goals in enhancing food and drug security.
