Khaberni - Zaid Nagoug, a player of the national beach wrestling team, won a bronze medal today, Thursday, at the Asian Youth Games, which will conclude tomorrow, Friday in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
Nagoug succeeded in earning the bronze medal in the 80 kg weight category competitions.
Nagoug opened his weight category competitions in the first group, where he defeated Tajik player Futoohi Mohamed Mehdi with a score of 2-1 and lost to the Iranian player Khodai Toraj with a score of 0-2.
He qualified for the semi-finals, where he lost to the Indian player Ravinder 0-2 and then moved on to compete for the bronze medal, which he won by defeating the Pakistani player Mohamed Abdul Rahman with a score of 2-1.
