The Lebanese star Elissa is preparing to present the film soundtrack for "The Ladder and Snake – Kids' Play," which will be shown in cinemas on the upcoming November 11/November, through which she brings back the romantic atmosphere that characterized the first part of the famous film more than two decades ago.
The new song titled "Matkhazalnish" features lyrics by Menna Al-Qai'i, music by Aziz El Shafei, and arrangement by Nader Hamdy, while the film is directed by Tarek Alarian, who was also behind the direction of the first part in 2001.
According to an Elissa news account on "Instagram," the collaboration with Alarian comes as part of a renewed artistic partnership that combines sophisticated cinematic vision and the romantic musical sensibility that Elissa is known for.
The film stars a selection of celebrities, including Amr Youssef, Asmaa Galal, Dhafer L'Abidine, Majed El Masry, Hatem Salah, Fadwa Abed, Heba Abdel Aziz, Aya Salim, and Amr Wahba. It is written by Ahmed Hosni, based on a story, screenplay, and dialogue by Tarek Alarian, and produced by Tarek Alarian and Musa Issa. The preparatory and filming stages took about three years to achieve the highest levels of cinematic quality.
"The Ladder and the Snake – Kids' Play" marks the tenth directorial work in Tarek Alarian's career, following the success of his last film "Sons of Rizk 3: The Judge," which topped the Egyptian and Arab box office. The film's premiere is scheduled for November 7, with the official release in Egypt on November 11 and in Arab countries on November 13.
