Khaberni - The Jordanian Armed Forces, on Thursday, evacuated the fifteenth batch of sick children from the Gaza Strip, which included 20 patients and 56 companions, as part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative to support Palestinian brothers and sisters and alleviate their humanitarian suffering.
The sick children will undergo treatment in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, within Jordanian hospitals to provide medical and humanitarian support as part of the ongoing Jordanian medical support efforts towards the brethren in the sector.
Since the launch of the medical corridor initiative by His Majesty the King last March, Jordan has welcomed 987 individuals from Gaza, including 286 patients and 701 companions, who were transported by land and air on several trips to receive necessary treatment.
