Death of Kuwaiti businessman Fawzi Mosaed AlSaleh

Khaberni - After a career full of giving and dedication to serving Kuwait, death has taken away the prominent Kuwaiti businessman Fawzi Mosaed Al-Saleh, one of the most significant economic and engineering figures who left clear marks in the fields of investment, development, and education in Kuwait.

The deceased was part of the generation that contributed to shaping the urban and economic renaissance in the country, having participated in founding the Kuwaiti Engineer's Office at the end of the sixties, which is one of the largest engineering offices in the country. Through it, he contributed to the design and execution of many projects that formed part of the urban development in the state. The deceased also had an active presence in the private sector, where he expressed on more than one occasion his vision for developing Kuwait City and its vital areas, emphasizing the importance of rehabilitating some main areas to keep pace with urban growth and expansion.

The deceased was also a supporter of cultural and educational work, contributing to the launch of the Sheikh Yousuf Bin Issa Al-Qinaei Award for books, and was one of its most prominent donors through his educational company (Fawzi Educational), believing in the importance of supporting creativity and encouraging national culture. He was a descendant of Sheikh Yousuf Bin Issa Al-Qinaei, one of the early pioneers of education in Kuwait.

The deceased was known for his good relations and good reputation, and his constant cooperation with his colleagues in the fields of public and private work. He also participated in the Kuwaiti popular delegation that traveled to several countries in 1990 after the Iraqi invasion, to explain Kuwait's cause and defend justice at the expanded Jeddah popular conference.

Al-Saleh was distinguished by a rich professional career that spanned decades, during which he combined engineering thought, economic vision, and national commitment. He was among the Kuwaiti men who believed in development and productive work, and contributed silently in building solid economic, educational, and cultural institutions.
