Khaberni - When His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein stated in the Royal Throne Speech: "Yes, the King is concerned, but he fears only Allah, and fears nothing else, with a Jordanian at his back," that moment represented a new emotional pact between the leadership and the people, reshaping the profound trust relationship that forms the core of the Jordanian national identity, founded on mutual sincerity and unwavering loyalty despite challenges.
Indeed, the King spoke on behalf of the nation, expressing concerns not from weakness, but from a sense of responsibility and alertness that drives action and reform, not hesitation or fear. The difference between worry and fear is fundamental; worry is awareness of risks and readiness to face them, while fear is retreat and breakdown, something that Jordanians have never known.
Yes, the King worries about the nation and its people, about the sustenance of the poor, the future of the youth, about education that befits Jordan, health that preserves people's dignity, and an economy that does not overburden the middle class and those with limited income. But he does not fear, for his resolve is drawn from his faith in Allah, and from this people who stand behind him as one.
In response, the Jordanians immediately replied sincerely and spontaneously, chanting loudly, with confidence and faith, and social media lit up with the hashtag: we are #BehindYou_OurMaster!
Behind you in the face of economic, political, and regional challenges.
Behind you because we know that your voice in international forums is our voice, and that your stance in defending Palestine and Jerusalem is the stance of every free Jordanian.
Behind you because you are the grandchild of the prophet, the son of Hussein, and the descendant of the Hashemites who have never let down Arabism or sold positions for deals.
We sensed in the Throne Speech the warmth of a leader who lives the concerns of his people, knows the details of their struggles, and speaks in a language like ours; he does not embellish with words but confronts us with the truth. His Majesty clearly stated that reform is a shared responsibility, that time is not on the side of the hesitant or the idle, and that the vision for economic, political, and social modernization requires tireless effort. He emphasized that #Nothing_But_the_Homeland and that party politics is not an end in itself, but a means to serve Jordan first and foremost, not as some have mistakenly thought and gone astray!
Because each scene has its symbolism, the presence of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II at the opening of the ordinary session of the Parliament was noteworthy. The son's glance towards his father encapsulated the essence of the state that extends through time and space—an eye on the legacy of the grand Hussein, and another on the future being built by the son Hussein.
And when His Majesty said:
"Hussein is my son and yours, a soldier for this nation,"
he rightfully positioned the Crown Prince as an extension of a generation of leaders who carry both weapon and thought, a generation raised to understand that leadership in Jordan is a duty, not a privilege, and is about action, not luxury.
This nation, born from hardships, has never known fear, but has always been a school of steadfastness. And if His Majesty is concerned, we see in his concern a motivation for hope, a call to rise, and a belief that Jordanians are capable of overcoming every crisis as they have surpassed even more complex challenges.
His Majesty has clearly stated, and redefined the relationship between the leadership and the people: "I only fear Allah, and I have a Jordanian at my back."
And we say it today with complete certainty: we are #BehindYou_OurMaster, a people who do not yield, because
#YourFace_Is_Among_Our_Features
And you are today our Master and our champion!
