Israel Approves Plan to Build 1300 New Settlement Units South of Jerusalem

Khaberni - The Israeli occupation authorities, on Wednesday evening, approved a plan to build 1,300 new settlement housing units in the "Gush Etzion" settlement bloc south of the occupied city of Jerusalem.
The Israeli radio, quoting the occupation authorities today, Thursday, stated that these units will be established in the "Russian Hill" neighborhood south of the "Alon Shvut" settlement and will be the largest settlement plan in the area for some time.
For its part, the Jerusalem Governorate explained that the occupation authorities delivered 30 demolition and construction stop notices to Palestinian homes in "Issawiya" and the town of "Al-Za'im" east of the occupied city.
