Khaberni - The Greater Amman Municipality launches a new service to integrate lease contracts into professional licensing transactions, as part of the municipality's direction in digital transformation of all its procedures, enhancing service transparency, and facilitating procedures.
Director of Systems and Digital Transformation, Mohammad Al-Hawayan, confirmed that issuing lease contracts is now part of the professional licensing transactions to facilitate procedures and reduce the time and effort for citizens, in addition to verifying the accuracy and credibility of the information provided in the transactions.
He pointed out that through this procedure, the municipality sends the professional license request to the property owner on his personal user name electronically via the professional system on the Greater Amman Municipality website to verify the information provided in the request, adding any other conditions, then sends the request to the tenant who in turn authenticates the request after verifying the information's accuracy.
Al-Hawayan explained that the municipality then sends an electronic payment number that includes the lease contract fees and the professional license fees, to authenticate the application after verifying the owner's possession of 51% of the property, and checks through the municipality systems what is required for the lease agreement, and that the owner has a user name in the professional system on the Greater Amman Municipality website.
He pointed out that the municipality sends the certified lease contract and the professional license electronically to both the owner and the tenant upon the transaction's completion and fulfillment of all conditions.
This procedure is part of Greater Amman Municipality’s digital efforts to improve and develop the services provided to citizens, simplifying procedures, and increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
