Khaberni - A municipal employee from Blieda, Lebanon, was martyred at dawn on Thursday, after an Israeli force penetrated the town’s territory and stormed the municipal building, according to the National Media Agency.
A Lebanese security source stated that the Israeli force stayed inside the town for several hours before withdrawing. Afterwards, the Lebanese army and civil defense entered the municipal building and transported the body of the martyred employee to the hospital.
During the operation, townspeople reported hearing screams and cries for help coming from the building, while the incursion continued until four in the morning, before the aggressor force withdrew.
The source added that a number of Blieda residents blocked the main road in protest against the storming of the town hall and the killing of the employee.
