Khaberni - Doctors advise those suffering from high blood pressure to consume oats because their antioxidant properties help regulate blood pressure levels.
According to the press office of the Consumer Protection Agency (Rospotrebnadzor), oats are considered one of the most beneficial cereals for health due to their high fiber content, which helps regulate bowel functions. 100 grams of oats contain more than 250% of the daily needed manganese, which is essential for maintaining the health of connective tissues, cartilages, and bones.
Oats are also rich in B vitamins that contribute to the improvement of the nervous system's health, enhance the metabolic process, and help cells efficiently absorb nutrients, besides slowing down aging signs. To maintain skin elasticity and health, it is recommended to consume about 150 grams of oats daily.
Experts from the authority noted that oats cooked for 15 to 20 minutes retain more nutrients and help feel fuller for a longer time. As for instant oats, it is essential to ensure they are free from sugar and preservatives to achieve the maximum health benefits.
