Khaberni - French media confirmed that player Paul Pogba is set to return to the fields after a long absence.
Foot Mercato newspaper reported that the French player is close to reappearing within the Monaco team list that will face Paris FC this week, in a step considered as a new start to his career after a challenging period lasting more than a year.
According to what was circulated in the French newspapers, Pogba has a strong opportunity to join the Monaco squad for the upcoming match, which means he may play his first official game since September 3, 2023, the last time he participated before being sidelined due to penalties and injuries for a long period.
It was added: "The 32-year-old player had been away from competition since leaving Juventus amid a ban imposed on him due to a doping case, before starting a new phase with Monaco in an attempt to gradually reclaim his physical and technical form. Pogba hopes that this return marks the beginning of the road back to regaining his stature in European football, after having been one of the stars of the French team that won the World Cup in 2018."
It continued: "Monaco management is dealing cautiously with the player's situation, as the technical staff believes that involving him in the upcoming match will be a symbolic step for his gradual return, without exposing him to great physical pressure after the long absence.
