Al-Sharaa clarified in a previous interview that his birthday in the official records was mistakenly recorded on July 29 instead of October 29, due to an administrative error that has not been corrected since 1982.
Khaberni - Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa topped the platform trend during his visit to the Saudi capital Riyadh, after his presence there coincided with two prominent occasions, the first being his 43rd birthday celebration, and the second his appearance on a tour inside one of the shopping centers accompanied by his Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The appearance of Al-Sharaa in Riyadh coincided with the anniversary of his 43rd birthday, as he was born in Riyadh on October 29, 1982, and during his participation in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative conference, attended by the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
"Al-Sharaa commented in front of the audience, saying: 'I had forgotten that today was my birthday, but my dear wife reminded me. I am happy to be in my place of birth today after more than forty years, and I do not believe in coincidences, as my presence here holds a special meaning for me."
In a related context, activists circulated a video showing Al-Sharaa accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani, during a tour in one of the malls in the Saudi capital, in which Al-Sharaa was seen strolling among the stores and exchanging greetings with several visitors, in an atmosphere described as spontaneous.
The Syrian News Channel posted the clip on its Instagram account, commenting: "His Excellency President Ahmad Al-Sharaa and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani are taking a tour in the markets of the Saudi capital Riyadh."
The clip sparked a wide wave of comments and speculation about the name of the shopping center that Al-Sharaa visited, while others circulated photos of him drinking coffee in one of the cafes inside the same center.
Al-Sharaa's visit to Riyadh was part of his participation in the Future Investment Initiative 2025 conference, held under the slogan "Key to Prosperity", which brought together leaders, heads of governments, ministers, and officials of sovereign wealth funds, and Al-Sharaa participated in a panel discussion alongside several international figures, addressing regional investment prospects and the future of development in the region.
