Khaberni - The Jordanian club Al-Wehdat succeeded in securing a significant win against Bahrain's Al-Muharraq 2-1, in the AFC Champions League 2, during the match held at the King Abdullah II Stadium in Amman.
Al-Wehdat's goals were scored by Mustafa Muawad and Amer Abu Jamous, while the Brazilian professional, Juninho, scored the lone goal for Al-Muharraq, leading to a well-deserved victory for the Jordanian team.
With this win, Al-Wehdat increased their points to 3, placing them last, but revitalizing their hopes in advancing to the second round.
In contrast, Al-Muharraq’s balance remains at 6 points, keeping its position in the group ranking, yet it suffered a significant setback to its direct competition aspirations for the lead.
