AlMomani The Arab region needs media to highlight the depth of its civilization and its success stories

Khaberni - The Minister of Government Communication, the official spokesman for the government, Dr. Mohammad Al-Momani, said that our Arab region needs media to narrate the success stories, the depth of civilization, the diversity, and the Arab contribution to building the human legacy.
Al-Momani added, during the closing ceremony of the 2025 Journalism Fellowship for Dialogue project, that the "Journalism of Dialogue" project is a model to be emulated in investing in awareness and building bridges of understanding between peoples.
Al-Momani, at the ceremony organized by the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue "KAICIID" and the Hayat Center "Rased", emphasized that the dialogue on any topic, especially about media, embodies the role of media in promoting the values of understanding and building peace.
Al-Momani also stressed that he is proud to see an Arab generation of journalists who believe that dialogue is the best path towards progress and peace, armed with knowledge and confidence in their past and future.
On his part, the Director-General of the Hayat Center "Rased", Dr. Amer Bani Amer, expressed his pride in the partnership that has lasted for more than 10 years with the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID).
Bani Amer affirmed that this partnership represents an exemplary model in joint work based on spreading the culture of dialogue and understanding and building bridges of communication between peoples.
Bani Amer mentioned that Jordan has always been a model in making dialogue a national priority and a methodology for public life, based on respecting diversity and pluralism, and consolidating values of moderation, openness, and coexistence.
Bani Amer added that KAICIID and Rased programs strive to empower journalists to be advocates of peace and a voice of reason and wisdom, asserting that "Dialogue is not a luxury of thought, but a national necessity and a tool for building more cohesive and just societies."
Waseem Haddad, Director of the Arab Region Program at KAICIID, mentioned that the project balances freedom of expression and the responsibility of the word, and that the media is not only a transmitter of events but also a creator of awareness and an influencer in building trust and shared living, hence the media is a strategic partner in all the programs we conduct in the Arab region and the world.
At the end of the ceremony, Minister Al-Momani distributed certificates to the graduates, and the closing event was attended by a large audience including several dignitaries, members of parliament, representatives of local and Arab media, and a number of experts and activists in the fields of media, dialogue, and social cohesion.
