Khaberni - The Turkish Minister of Commerce, Omer Bulat, said that there are many new Turkish investors targeting investment in various sectors in Jordan.
Bulat revealed, during his speech at the joint Jordanian-Turkish Economic Committee meetings, the presence of a group of investors in Aqaba regarding phosphoric acid projects, as well as a group exploring investment in hydropower projects, and another for public transportation projects in Amman.
He confirmed that cooperation with Jordan continues to reactivate the Hejaz Railway line.
He pointed out that the Ministries of Transport in Turkey and Syria have signed an agreement to reactivate the transit line from Turkey through Jordan to the Gulf countries.
He added that Jordan enjoys a strategic location and serves as a major gateway to various markets in the region and its surroundings.
