Khaberni - A responsible security source confirmed that the security devices at the Irbid Police Public Security Directorate managed to detain a group of individuals shown in a recently circulated social media video, carrying sharp tools near one of the girls' schools in the province.
The source said that the Directorate's staff monitored the video and the specialized teams immediately identified the individuals involved and their location, and that the detention was carried out promptly to "put an end to these practices that pose a danger to the safety of the students and the local community."
The source clarified that preliminary investigations are ongoing to take necessary legal and administrative actions, and the detainees will be referred for legal proceedings.
