Khaberni - On the evening of Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the first episode of the twelfth season of the largest audience program in the field of Nabati poetry, "Million's Poet", started at the Al Rahba Beach Theater in the capital, Abu Dhabi, amidst significant attendance from VIPs and those interested in poetry and media.
The event was attended by His Excellency Fares Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Heritage Authority in Abu Dhabi.
Among those present were dignitaries, businessmen, and media personalities, in addition to a large crowd that filled the theater, reflecting the esteemed status that the program holds in the hearts of Nabati poetry lovers across the Arab world.
The judging panel consisted of Dr. Sultan Al Amimi, Dr. Ghassan Al Hassan, and Professor Hamad Al Saied, who expressed their great optimism about the distinguished poetic level presented by the poets this season in their speech, confirming that the competition would be strong and filled with beautiful poetic surprises.
Forty-eight poets from various Arab countries including Jordan qualified for the live episodes. Six contestants participated in the opening episode including the Jordanian Oday Al-Zubaidi, each presenting a Nabati poem that expressed the diversity of creative and authentic poetic talent. The judging panel then evaluated the performances and provided artistic feedback.
The first episode was marked by an atmosphere of enthusiasm and significant public interaction, thereby announcing the start of a new journey of poetic competition that combines creativity, identity, and the authentic Arab cultural heritage, affirming the program’s continued mission to revive the heritage and enhance the status of Nabati poetry among generations.
