Katz Threatens Hamas Leaders Abroad No Immunity for Suit Wearers

Khaberni - Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened the leaders of Hamas abroad, warning that "there will be no immunity for those who wear suits."

Katz claimed that the army targeted "dozens of military infrastructures and assassinated dozens of Hamas leaders in yesterday's military strike," emphasizing that "the strikes carried out by the army were in response to an attack on its soldiers and a blatant violation of the agreement to return bodies."

He addressed the leaders of "Hamas" abroad saying, "There will be no immunity for those who wear suits, no immunity for any of the Hamas leaders and the hand that extends towards our soldiers will be cut off," revealing that "the army has been directed to act forcefully against any target belonging to Hamas now and in the future."

On Tuesday evening, the army breached the ceasefire agreement with intensive aerial and artillery bombardment, before announcing on Wednesday the return to the agreement.

The army claimed this bombardment was in response to gunfire that targeted its forces in the southern Gaza Strip, which resulted in the death of a soldier, while "Hamas" denied any involvement in the matter.
