Khaberni - Prime Minister Ja'far Hassan said that securing the Palestinian people to their land and keeping the Palestinian issue at the forefront of global attention, transforming global support and recognition of the Palestinian state is the basis of the government's diplomatic work to push towards achieving a fair peace that restores all the rights to the Palestinian people.
During a cabinet session on Wednesday in the capital province, Hassan pointed out that His Majesty the King’s directions are clear in supporting the Palestinian brothers, and that Jordan continues to deliver aid to alleviate the deteriorating humanitarian situations, through ground supplies and field hospitals that have never stopped operating even under the hardest conditions, among other efforts led by Jordan, emphasizing on intensifying pivotal efforts in cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries for this purpose.
Hassan confirmed that efforts are now focused on the necessity of establishing an agreement to end the war in Gaza as a political track that paves the way for restoring calm in the region.
He added, "From the beginning, we sought to end the war, save the innocents, ensure the delivery of relief and humanitarian aid, prevent displacement, and Jordan's efforts under the leadership of His Majesty the King and his movements in various forums focused on that."
He continued, "Praise be to Allah, the brutal and unjust war on our people in Gaza has stopped, and we hope it will not renew; but its effects are still present before our eyes: an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy, tens of thousands of innocent victims, orphans, widows, total destruction, and complete collapse of the health and relief systems."
