Khaberni - The Faculty of Arts at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized a welcome meeting for the new students of the current academic year. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Musa Al-Zaghou, the Vice Dean, Dr. Moaz Al-Ghazou, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Munir Afishat, the heads of the academic departments, and the faculty members.
The meeting began with a speech by Dr. Musa Al-Zaghou, the Dean of the Faculty, who welcomed the new students and emphasized the university's commitment to providing a stimulating academic environment that helps in shaping their personalities and developing their academic and cognitive abilities. He also encouraged them to adhere to university values and to actively participate in extracurricular activities that enhance a sense of belonging and responsibility.
Dr. Munir Afishat, the Dean of Student Affairs, gave an overview of the services and programs provided by the deanery to support students academically, psychologically, and socially, noting that the university pays special attention to student welfare and enables them to achieve excellence and creativity.
The department heads and faculty members discussed the nature of the programs and the academic opportunities available, offering a series of guidelines and advice to help students in their university journey.
At the end of the meeting, the floor was opened for students to ask questions and make inquiries in an interactive atmosphere filled with cordiality and cooperation, expressing their pride in joining the family of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, which places students at the forefront of its concerns.
