Khaberni - Captain Ayman Al-Harahsheh from the highway patrol said that they are currently dealing with a traffic obstruction on the Mafraq – Zarqa road due to the falling load of one of the vehicles, which are cement bags, causing a traffic crisis, and work is underway to lift the obstruction.
During the traffic report on Public Security Radio, he added that some roads are currently experiencing fog formation, such as the airport road, with visibility ranging between 100-150 meters, and the Mafraq - Irbid road with visibility of 100 meters, in addition to the Mafraq - Zarqa road.
He noted that traffic movement will be closed in both directions in the Ras Al-Naqb area on the desert road due to maintenance work including the installation of an electrical cable, and the closure will start at eleven o'clock for a duration of 20 minutes.
Maintenance work will also begin at eleven at night on the airport road from the Naour Bridge to the airport bridge, which involves the re-marking of ground lines.
Regarding yesterday, they dealt with a collision on the Mafraq – Zarqa road resulting in 3 moderate injuries, and caused a traffic crisis.
Also, there was handling of a pedestrian accident on Al-Petra Street, resulting in a moderate injury and the necessary actions were taken.
