About the Book
The Fixer – by Amjad Tadros
How does a war start? What drives a person to fabricate lies that could endanger the lives of his countrymen? Where do extremist ideologies take root? How can a small-sized country with limited population become a regional power? And what is the real difference between watching the news and experiencing it?
Through decades of direct field coverage, The Fixer book attempts to answer these questions and more. Amjad Tadros, a former CBS News producer in the Middle East and a four-time Emmy Award winner for investigative journalism, offers a personal narrative deeply about modern Middle East. From the heart of the fronts, through exclusive interviews and human experiences, Tadros weaves a narrative that clarifies the picture and deepens understanding.
