Khaberni - A man has been charged with murder after he ended his girlfriend's life and coerced his 15-year-old son to help dispose of the body in a forest in northern Oregon, USA.
The police said that William Glenn Black, aged 56, killed Jennifer Roth Stewart, aged 38, during a fight in their home in Oregon City in August, and her body was found in the Mount Hood National Forest on September 1, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, as reported by the "New York Post".
The son, aged 15, whose identity has not been disclosed due to his minor status, was arrested on charges of helping his father move the body.
The teenager was transferred to the Clackamas County Juvenile Reception and Assessment Center and was charged with mistreatment of a corpse and tampering with evidence. Another son of Black, aged 17, was also questioned, but no charges were filed against him.
In the meantime, the father is charged with second-degree murder, mistreatment of a corpse, illegal use of a weapon, and tampering with evidence, and is currently being held without bail.
Official sources have not disclosed how Stewart was killed, but the coroner’s office confirmed it was a homicide.
Stewart's friend, Mike Cheney, said: "She was a good girl, but I guess she's in a better place now. When I heard about it, I felt deep pain. Why do we lose the good ones while there are so many bad people in the world?"
