Khaberni - Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, Chief of the Joint Staff, met today, Tuesday, with the Commander-in-Chief of the Swedish Armed Forces, First General Michael Claesson, in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.
During the meeting, Major General Al-Hunaiti outlined the importance of developing the strategic partnership that unites the two friendly armies, praising the level of coordination and military cooperation existing between the Jordanian Armed Forces and their Swedish counterpart, which contributes to supporting efforts for regional and international security and stability.
On his part, First General Claesson stressed the need to develop prospects for joint military cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces and to enhance the exchange of expertise in various fields of interest to the armed forces of the two friendly countries.
Major General Al-Hunaiti also met today, Tuesday, with the Chief of Defense Staff, General Carl Johan Edström, at the Swedish Army Command.
Major General Al-Hunaiti discussed with General Edström, in the presence of a number of senior officers from the Swedish Armed Forces and the non-resident Swedish Defense Attaché, the aspects of military cooperation between the two friendly armies, ways to enhance them in various training, operational, and logistical fields, in addition to exchanging expertise in the areas of defense and security.
