Khaberni - The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, in collaboration with "Presight," has launched an independent and advanced AI platform named "ENECIQ," which has been designed to accelerate the decision-making process and knowledge sharing in the company.
According to the Emirates News Agency "WAM," the platform is designed to integrate AI securely across the internal systems of the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, assisting employees at all levels, from engineers and analysts to administrative teams, by providing smart support.
The platform relies on the company’s proprietary knowledge bases to enable employees to develop specialized insights, automate time-consuming tasks, and ensure a sped-up process of achieving data-based factual outcomes.
The platform’s applications include summarizing technical reports from the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation's document management system, extracting insights from key performance indicators and risk assessments, and granting employees faster access to information and processes, thus enabling them to save more time for research and innovation by integrating AI into daily workflows.
The "ENECIQ" platform system has been developed in the secure cloud environment of the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation and is completely separate from the nuclear reactor operational systems, ensuring compliance with the highest local and international standards for data governance and security.
Mohammed Al Hammadi, the Managing Director and CEO of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation and its group of companies, emphasized that the corporation continues to utilize the latest technologies in its ongoing journey to elevate excellence standards. He stated that the collaboration with Presight and the development of the "ENECIQ" platform supports work teams and enables them to use AI tools designed to meet the company's needs.
He explained that the company focuses on excellence and playing a leading role in the global nuclear energy sector, and that the platform is an important step in enhancing work efficiency at all levels.
On his part, Thomas Bramootideham, CEO of Presight, said that delivering AI services at such a scale in a critically important company requires precise governance and deep expertise in the field. He clarified that the platform sets a standard for innovation in deploying "Agentic AI" within the national infrastructure, representing one of the most advanced institutional applications.
He added that through directly integrating AI into its operations, the company enhances knowledge exchange and automation on a broader scale. This initiative aligns with the UAE's national AI strategy and Abu Dhabi's ambitions to be a regional hub for secure and sovereign AI capabilities.
The company plays a crucial role in supporting the future of the Emirates by providing safe, reliable, and sustainable electricity, especially since producing stable, emission-free electricity using nuclear technology is essential for supporting AI infrastructure and the crucial data centers for the country's digital economy.
