Gold prices continued to decline in both the global and local markets, having reached their peak about 8 days ago.
On 20/10 this year, the price of 21-karat gold — which is the most sought after among Jordanians — reached 89 dinars per gram, while today it has dropped to 79.7 dinars per gram, a decrease of 9.3 dinars, according to Khaberni monitoring.
As for 24-karat gold, it saw the largest drop, with the price per gram decreasing from 101.75 dinars to 91.3 dinars today, a reduction of 10.45 dinars.
The price of 18-karat gold per gram also decreased from 78.8 dinars to 70.6 dinars, with a price difference of 8.2 dinars.
The price of 14-karat gold per gram today is 53.6 dinars after it had reached 60 dinars per gram 8 days ago, with a decrease of 6.4 dinars.
