Khaberni - The Middle East University organized an awareness event on the occasion of the International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, aimed at establishing the concepts of early screening and encouraging students to adopt healthy lifestyles.
The event, sponsored by the university president, Professor Dr. Salam Al-Muhadin, included a specialized panel discussion that brought together a group of prominent names in the health sector, including former Senator Dr. Sawsan Al-Majali, Dr. Reem Al-Ajlouni, and the Dean of the Nursing College, Dr. Samira Al-Habashneh, along with a number of faculty and administrative members.
The speakers reviewed the importance of early detection in reducing disease risks and the methods of prevention and self-care. Real-life testimonials were also presented by several survivors, including Mrs. Anan Beidas, who provided impactful messages on willpower, hope, and resilience.
The event witnessed notable interaction from the university students, who showed interest in health and psychological issues, while accompanying awareness booths contributed to spreading supportive health messages through offering scientific advice and practical guidance to enhance the concept of self-prevention.
