A citizen complained about a passenger delivery company on the Irbid-Amman route, after his trip from Irbid to the capital was delayed, cancelled, and then he was transferred to ride in another vehicle belonging to the company, leading to a verbal altercation and foul language between the passenger and a company official.
The citizen told Khaberni that an altercation occurred with one of the company's officials via WhatsApp, after he got on the second vehicle, where there was confusion in transporting the passengers. Each passenger had to be dropped off in a different area of the capital which led to him being delayed in visiting his father at the Medical City before his surgery.
He explained that the vehicle he chose was supposed to take him to the Sweileh area in the north of the capital, Amman, but the vehicle change and the trip cancellation caused the delay, leading him to contact the company supervisor. The latter responded with obscene language while the captain argued with the passenger and dropped him off on the road not at his destination.
Cars for transporting passengers actively operate between the cities of Irbid and Amman, and their advertisements are widespread across social media platforms, without accountability.
