Khaberni - By the will of God, towards the last days of October 2025, the Kingdom will be affected by an inactive extension of what is called the Red Sea Trough, which will be accompanied by a rise in temperatures across all regions and occasional activity of the eastern winds, especially during the upcoming weekend, God willing.
Experts at Arab Weather Center stated that the thermal Red Sea Trough does not follow the characteristics of the frontal Mediterranean depressions, hence its effects on the Kingdom will take the form of:
Increase in temperatures: The Red Sea Trough will cause an increase in temperatures to be higher than the usual averages by more than 3 degrees Celsius, with the weather being moderate, and the atmosphere tending to be warm in the afternoon along with the appearance of scattered clouds. While it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba areas.
Moderate speed southeastern winds that occasionally become active and raise dust and dirt: Concurrent with the dry extension of the Red Sea Trough during the weekend, there is a high-pressure system from the north and east, where light to moderate speed eastern to southeastern winds blow, occasionally becoming active and raising dust and dirt in some limited areas.
Temperatures in the mid-30s Celsius in the Jordan Valley: They range from 27 to 30 degrees Celsius over most areas of the Kingdom including parts of the capital Amman, especially the eastern parts. As for the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the maximum temperatures are around the mid-30s Celsius.
Tuesday: The heat slightly tends to increase, being higher than the average by about 3-5 degrees Celsius, and the atmosphere becomes relatively hot during noon and afternoon hours where temperatures approach 30 degrees Celsius in parts of the capital Amman.
Wednesday: A drop in temperatures occurs, being around to slightly above the average, and the atmosphere will be moderate in general areas along with the appearance of high clouds.
During the night, the weather generally becomes relatively cool, with the appearance of low clouds.
