Khaberni - Jude Bellingham, the Spanish Real Madrid player, faced new criticism in England due to his mockery of Lamin Yamal, a Barcelona player, after their match which ended with the capital team's 2-1 win on Sunday.
Bellingham, 22 years old, who scored the winning goal in Real Madrid's 2-1 victory at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, posted a picture of himself celebrating with the comment: “Talk is cheap. Real Madrid always."
The message was interpreted as a response to Yamal, who is 18 years old, who had fueled tension before the match by accusing Real Madrid of "theft and complaining."
This comes amidst a tense period for the English midfielder on the international stage, after Thomas Tuchel excluded him from the last England squad lineup earlier this month, where the coach warned that "behavioral standards are non-negotiable" when asked about his absence.
Tuchel stated that he would speak to Bellingham before deciding whether to call him up for next month’s World Cup qualifier matches.
The former duo at Sky Sports, Richard Keys and Andy Gray, believe that Bellingham's actions on social media and his general behavior need to change.
Keys said: “I think he possesses all the qualities to be one of the best, if not the best, players for England in his position. But he has a very busy, and disliked father, which increases the dislike towards him through feeding him this kind of nonsense before the last tournament."
He added: “If he wants to regain his place and be part of the upcoming World Cup lineup, he needs to make new friends. To me, this requires a drastic change in his behavior, his behavior is completely wrong."
After the match, Bellingham posted online Elvis Presley's quote "A little less conversation" to his Instagram story, which was an implicit reference to Yamal’s statements before the match.
Recently, the family of England’s star has attracted attention. His father Mark, an agent for Jude and his younger brother Job, has had a significant influence on their professional careers and it was reported that he recently had a dispute with Borussia Dortmund officials regarding the playing time of his younger son.
