Khaberni - Al-Nassr has bid farewell to the King's Cup in 4 different occasions within the last 5 years due to defeats at their home ground "Al Awal Park", just before their fiery clash against Al-Ittihad in the round of sixteen of the current edition on Tuesday.

In the following year, Al-Nassr lost against their traditional rival Al Hilal in the quarterfinals by two goals to one, with Brazilian Anderson Talisca scoring for them, while Nigerian Odion Ighalo and Salem Al-Dawsari scored for Al Hilal.

Al-Nassr conceded an early goal from Al-Wehda player John David Bughail in the semifinals of the 2023 edition, and failed to equalize despite the dismissal of Abdullah Al-Hafith, the opponent's player, exiting the tournament for the third consecutive time with a defeat at their home ground.

Al-Nassr surpassed their counterpart Al-Khaleej at "Al Awal Park" with three goals to one in the semifinals of the 2024 edition, before losing to their traditional rival Al Hilal in the final match by penalty shootouts.

In the last season, Walid Al-Ahmad, a player from Al-Taawoun, scored in Al-Nassr's goal at "Al Awal Park" and Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty, leading to Al-Nassr's departure from the tournament in the quarterfinals.
