Khaberni - The sixth session of the "Sinbula" initiative in public schools, which was launched by the Al-Jood Foundation for Scientific Care in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and supported by Arab Bank, was concluded during a ceremony held at the Hussein Cultural Center under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Alia Karima Tawfiq Al-Tabbaa.
During the ceremony, 52 public schools from various directorates of the kingdom were honored in recognition of their excellence in implementing educational projects that are innovative, positively impactful, and sustainable. Arab Bank's support for the initiative stems from its solid strategy in the field of sustainability and corporate responsibility, and its deep belief in the importance of education as a foundation for building communities.
The initiative, launched in 2018, aims to enhance the entrepreneurial spirit among male and female teachers and encourage them to find innovative solutions for challenges in the school environment and implement them on the ground in cooperation with the local community. More than 2,200 public schools have participated in the initiative thus far, where over 8,000 teachers have received specialized training in the "Sinbula" methodology, in addition to granting 35,000 certificates to teachers participating in life skills sessions. This has contributed to the implementation of more than 4,000 projects benefiting over 800,000 students across the kingdom.
Commenting on this collaboration, Maher Qaddoura, Director of the Al-Jood Foundation for Scientific Care, said: "The real impact of the Sinbula Initiative is evident in the success stories within schools and in the lives of students, where teachers have been the cornerstone of its success and a model in effecting positive change." Qaddoura expressed his deep gratitude to Arab Bank for its strategic support of the initiative, appreciating its active role in empowering teachers and achieving the educational and humanitarian goals of the institution.
It is noteworthy that Arab Bank began its strategic sponsorship of the "Sinbula" initiative in 2021, confirming its continuous commitment to supporting the education sector and initiatives aimed at empowering educational personnel and developing student skills in line with its orientations towards promoting sustainable community development through its diverse programs in the field of corporate social responsibility. The "Together" program embodies this approach by supporting a variety of initiatives and activities that contribute to serving vital sectors including education, health, poverty eradication, environmental protection, women's empowerment, and orphan care, through joint efforts with local community institutions.
