Khaberni - The Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized a welcoming meeting for its new students for the academic year 2025/2026, attended by the dean of the faculty Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Hasban, the vice dean Dr. Mohammad Al-Wahsh, the head of the pharmacy department Dr. Wesam Jarar, the vice head of the department Dr. Rawan Al-Huwitat, and several members of the teaching and administrative staff.
The dean of the faculty started the meeting with a speech in which he welcomed the new students, congratulating them on joining the family of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and emphasizing the faculty's commitment to providing an academic environment that fosters creativity, excellence, and scientific research, ensuring the graduation of pharmacists who are academically and practically competent to serve the community efficiently and effectively. He also urged the students to adhere to university values and actively participate in scientific and student activities that enhance their university experience.
In turn, the vice dean Dr. Mohammad Al-Wahsh emphasized the importance of early integration into university life, noting that the university study phase represents a true start towards building a professional future. He encouraged the students to be diligent and to benefit from the experiences of the faculty members, and from the opportunities offered by the faculty through training courses, workshops, and scientific conferences.
The head of the pharmacy department Dr. Wesam Jarar gave a presentation about the academic plans and regulations, explaining the importance of bearing academic responsibility, fostering a spirit of cooperation and teamwork, and building positive relationships with colleagues and professors.
Vice head of the department Dr. Rawan Al-Huwitat spoke about the role of the department in supporting and guiding students throughout their study journey, reaffirming the faculty's ongoing commitment to developing their scientific and practical skills in line with the latest developments in the fields of pharmaceutical sciences and healthcare.
The meeting concluded with an open discussion that allowed students to ask questions and express their inquiries, creating an atmosphere of positive interaction and enthusiasm for the start of a promising academic year.
