Khaberni - The British police are intensively searching for an Ethiopian asylum seeker who was mistakenly released from prison, despite being convicted of sexually assaulting a woman and a 14-year-old girl near a hotel where asylum seekers reside in the town of Epping, Essex.

He was supposed to be transferred after serving his sentence to a migrant detention center in preparation for his deportation to his home country, but he was mistakenly released due to an administrative error in the prison, prompting the police to launch an urgent manhunt to arrest him and return him to custody for public safety.

The British Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy expressed deep dismay, saying: "I am disgusted by the incident of mistaken release in Chelmsford prison, and we are working with the police to track down the perpetrator. I have ordered an immediate investigation, and this man must be deported because of his crimes, not left on our streets."

The Prison Service confirmed that one of its staff has been temporarily suspended pending an investigation into the incident, emphasizing that public protection is the utmost priority.

Kibato arrived in the United Kingdom just weeks before his crimes on a small boat across the English Channel and was accommodated at the Bell Hotel in Epping.

Over two consecutive days, he attempted to kiss a 14-year-old girl in her school uniform and made explicit sexual remarks to her before physically assaulting her the following day.

It also became apparent that he sexually assaulted an adult woman who had offered to help him write his resume. After witnessing his behavior towards the girl, the woman quickly informed the police, who arrested him.

The case sparked a wave of protests in front of the hotel where he was staying, where far-right groups attempted to exploit it to incite against migrants, leading to clashes with the police and the arrest of 32 people.
