Khaberni - Stemming from the social responsibility adopted by Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, the French and English Department at the University organized an environmental initiative, in collaboration with the Community Development sector in the Greater Amman Municipality represented by the Department of Programs and Social Facilities, which included planting one hundred forest trees in Ghamdan National Park.
This activity is part of a series of initiatives carried out by the college to serve the local community, and to enhance the culture of volunteer work and environmental responsibility among its students, in alignment with the university's vision to prepare a conscious generation that contributes to sustainable development.
The activity was supervised by the teacher Dima Al-Wahsh, with active participation from members of both the academic and administrative bodies, and several students from the department who showed great enthusiasm to participate in this meaningful environmental work.
Participants affirmed that such initiatives contribute to instilling values of belonging and giving, and enhance environmental awareness among the youth, confirming their continued support for national efforts aimed at protecting the environment and preserving the natural beauty of Jordan.
