Khaberni - Jordan received 911 people from the Gaza Strip, including 266 patients and 645 companions, who were transported by land and air on a number of trips to receive necessary treatment, since the launch of the "Jordan Medical Corridor" initiative under royal directives early last March.
This comes to enhance Jordan's humanitarian role in supporting the Palestinian brothers and alleviating their health sufferings amid the difficult circumstances in the Gaza Strip.
On Sunday, the Jordanian Armed Forces postponed the 14th batch of sick children from the Gaza Strip, as part of the "Jordan Medical Corridor" initiative, which was launched by the kingdom to provide necessary medical care for the injured and sick from the sector.
The new batch included 34 patients and 78 companions, who will be treated in Jordanian hospitals in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, as part of the ongoing medical support bridge.
The armed forces continue the evacuation and medical and humanitarian support operations in implementation of the royal directives, reaffirming Jordan's steadfast position in standing by the Palestinian people under various circumstances.
