Khaberni - In the framework of its community responsibility and its commitment to instilling the values of volunteer work and environmental awareness among its students, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized a volunteer environmental visit to the Friends of Cancer Patients Association, with participation from the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ala Al-Hassban, the Vice Dean, Dr. Mohammad Al-Wahsh, and several faculty members and laboratory supervisors, along with a group of college students.
The visit witnessed the implementation of a series of volunteer activities that included painting walls and facilities, planting trees and plants, and cleaning the site and improving its overall appearance, amidst an atmosphere filled with the spirit of cooperation and collective responsibility.
This initiative is part of a series of extracurricular activities that the college carries out to support positive behavior towards the environment, and aiming to enhance students' connection to the community and develop their practical and voluntary skills.
At the end of the visit, the Dean of the College expressed his gratitude to all participants for their dedicated efforts and their contribution to the success of this initiative, which embodies the values of belonging, giving, and responsibility that the university is keen to instill among its students.
