Khaberni - A Jordanian source monitoring the car trade movement in the free zone said that the claims circulating about an anticipated increase in car prices at the beginning of next month Khaberni (are an underestimation of the intelligence of Jordanians).
The source noted that the promotion of these rumors is for several reasons, among them an attempt to increase cash withdrawals from buyers before the new year to import 2026 models.
The source also highlighted to Khaberni that the free zone contains a huge number of cars, of which only a small percentage will be sold before the end of the year, leading to a market slump due to the large supply and low demand.
The government Khaberni prohibited the import of salvage (damaged) cars and imposed new requirements for the customs of other car categories.
