Ahmed Dawoud to compete in the Ramadan race 2026 with the series Baba and Mama Neighbors

Khaberni - After his successive successes, Ahmed Dawoud is preparing for a new drama experience in Ramadan 2026 through the series "Baba and Mama Neighbors" on the MBC network.

The artist Ahmed Dawoud is preparing to return to Ramadan drama through a new series titled "Baba and Mama Neighbors," set to be shown in the Ramadan season of 2026 on MBC channel, in a collaboration that brings him together with producer Saadek Al-Sabah, writer Walaa El-Sherif, and director Ahmed Abdelwahab.

This project comes after a series of successes Dawoud has achieved in cinema and television, having recently completed filming two new movies, "El Krash" and "Ezma," which are expected to be released next year.

In the movie "El Krash," Dawoud appears alongside Bassem Samra, Mirna Jamil, and Sherine Reda, in a work that belongs to romantic comedy drama, written by Loay El-Sayed and directed by Mahmoud Karim.

As for the film "Ezma," he co-stars with Selma Abudeif, Basant Shawky, Hamza Diab, and Jessica Hossam El-Din, which is written and directed by Mohamed Saadek in his first directorial experience based on his novel published in 2020, and produced by The Producers company for producer Hany Osama.

This intense artistic activity comes after a season filled with awards and honors, as Ahmed Dawoud received the Excellence and Creativity Award from the Arab Satellite Channels Festival, and the Dear Guest Award, in addition to the Best Leading Actor award from the Egyptian Catholic Centre for Cinema for his movie "Al Hawa Sultan," which also won the Best Actor award in the "Energy Cup" competition.

Dawoud had drawn attention during Ramadan 2025 through the series "Al-Sharnoqa," which achieved widespread popular success, featuring Maryam El-Kasht, Ala Al-Tayeb, Sabri Fawaz, Sarah Abi Kanaan, and Yasser Ezzat, written by Amr Samir Atef, directed by Mahmoud AbdelTawab, and produced by Aroma company for Tamer Murtada.

His successful movie "Al Hawa Sultan" exceeded revenues of 80 million Egyptian pounds, featuring Menna Shalaby, Sawsan Badr, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, and Jihan El-Shamashergy, written and directed by Heba Yousry, and produced by CC Cinema company for producers Ahmed Fahmi and Hany Naguib.
