AlSharaa visits Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to meet Mohammed bin Salman

Khaberni - Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa is making a working visit next Tuesday to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he will meet the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and participate in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative Conference.

The Presidential Media Directorate told SANA that Al-Sharaa will meet during his visit with Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries, especially in terms of investment and economic cooperation, in addition to discussing regional and international developments of mutual interest.

Al-Sharaa is scheduled to deliver a speech at the Future Investment Initiative Conference held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and he will also meet with leading investment companies and global economic institutions.

Accompanying Al-Sharaa to the conference is a high-level Syrian delegation, which includes ministers and senior officials and national experts, a step that represents Syria’s official entry into the regional economic revival. The delegation, departing tomorrow, Monday, to Saudi Arabia, will meet with leading global investors and major companies and financial institutions to build investment pathways in sectors such as infrastructure, housing, energy, health, technology, and sustainable industries.

It is noted that the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative Conference begins tomorrow, continues for four days, and features participation of leaders, presidents of states, major investors, and policymakers under the slogan “Unlocking Prosperity.” It is anticipated to attract more than 8,000 participants and 650 prominent speakers through 250 panel discussions aimed at leveraging technological and economic capabilities to build a prosperous and sustainable future for humanity.
