Khaberni - Amjad Al-Shawa, the director of the Palestinian NGO Network, confirmed in statements to Al-Arabiya channel on Sunday, his readiness to head a technocratic government in the Gaza Strip in case there is national, Arab, and international consensus.

Al-Shawa pointed out that the technocrat committee will play significant roles in the recovery phase, but it will not be able to bear the burden of reconstructing Gaza and aiding its residents alone, due to the massive efforts required.

Al-Shawa clarified that urgent relief and the opening of crossings are a top priority to support the residents of the sector, emphasizing the importance of the economic and social recovery phase as a fundamental part of the process.

He confirmed that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the Palestinian territories, and that the technocrat committee must coordinate with the Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization to ensure the success of its missions.
