Khaberni - The Jordanian Armed Forces, on Sunday, evacuated the fourteenth batch of sick children in the Gaza Strip, as part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative launched by the Kingdom, to support the Palestinians and alleviate their humanitarian suffering.
The batch included 33 patients and 84 accompanying persons, who will be treated at Jordanian hospitals, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.
Since the launch of the initiative in March last year, Jordan has received 916 individuals from the Gaza Strip, including 265 patients and 651 accompanying persons, who have been transported by land and air on a number of flights to receive treatment.
It should be noted that the evacuation operations carried out by Jordan to support the Palestinian brothers in Gaza, were initiated by royal directives at the beginning of last March, where the armed forces continue their humanitarian work in evacuating the injured and providing humanitarian and medical support to them in various circumstances.
