Khaberni - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Hunaiti, received today, Sunday, in his office at the General Command, the Chief of Staff of the Pakistani Land Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, along with the accompanying delegation.
Military reception ceremonies were held for the guest, during which the honor guard lined up to greet him.
Major General Al-Hunaiti discussed with the guest various aspects of joint military cooperation and coordination, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, especially in the fields of defense, training, and exchange of expertise, to serve mutual interests and enhance the capabilities of both forces. Discussions also included shared visions and aspirations.
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff emphasized during the meeting the depth of the bilateral relations between the armed forces of the countries and the importance of developing them in various military areas, noting the importance of continuing coordination to achieve shared goals and elevate the level of mutual cooperation between the two armies.
Major General Al-Hunaiti and the guest delegation listened to military briefings about training, operational, and logistical programs and future plans aimed at enhancing joint military cooperation, particularly in the areas of exercises and training courses to develop defense capabilities.
On his part, Field Marshal Munir expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role played by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II in supporting efforts for security and stability in the region and praised the high level of excellence and competence of the Jordanian Armed Forces.
At the end of the visit, the Chief of Staff of the Pakistani Land Forces wrote a message in the guestbook.
The meeting was attended by the Pakistani Ambassador and the Defense Attaché in Amman, and several senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces.
