Khaberni - Reports revealed details of the huge offer received by Swedish star Victor Gyokeres, striker of Arsenal English, during the last summer transfer period from the Saudi Professional League.
Gyokeres had refused tempting offers from major Saudi clubs, including Al Qadsiah and Al Hilal, both of which were prepared to offer substantial amounts to convince him to join them.
Gyokeres, who has established himself as one of the top strikers in Europe, rejected the tempting offers from the Saudi league, preferring to move to the English league, specifically to Arsenal, which he considered his first choice for continuing his professional career.
According to reports, Gyokeres indeed refused an offer worth 36 million euros annually from Saudi clubs in last summer's transfer window.
It was clarified that the Swedish international preferred to move to "the Gunners" for an annual salary of 12 million euros, ignoring the huge offers he received from the major clubs of the Saudi league.
The 27-year-old player, since moving to Arsenal, has played 12 matches, scoring 5 goals, without providing any decisive passes or contributing to other goals in various competitions.
It should be noted that the Swedish striker had scored a brace that contributed to his team Arsenal's win (4-0) over Spanish Atlético Madrid last Tuesday, in the third round of the UEFA Champions League competitions.
