Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II stated on Sunday that Jordan has grown and strengthened thanks to the faith of its people, adding that crises have changed but Jordan remains strong.
During the opening of the second ordinary session of the 20th Parliament in both its chambers (Deputies and Senators), His Majesty added the nation, destined to be born in the heart of crises—which were never an exception in its journey but rather its constant companion since the beginning—had to carve its path with willpower, as its generations proved at every turn by standing firm against hardships.
He emphasized the need to continue the implementation of the economic modernization vision to sustain growth, launch major projects, attract investments, provide job opportunities, and improve living standards.
His Majesty stressed the importance of advancing the educational system to keep pace with the requirements of the age, and continuing to develop the health system and modernize the transport sector to enhance its efficiency in supporting development and improving the quality of life.
He added, "Today we cannot afford the luxury of time, nor room for complacency; we must continue developing the public sector so that citizens can feel the impact of improved services."
