Sudden Development Fadel Shaker Just Steps from Full Acquittal

Khaberni - Significant developments were seen in the cases related to Lebanese artist Fadel Shaker after the Lebanese indictment panel recommended dropping several charges against him, following a precise legal review that included multiple files about his recent judicial trajectory.

Reportedly, the Lebanese indictment panel studied Shaker’s judicial files over several prolonged sessions and decided to drop two main charges: "Offending a brotherly state" and "Money laundering and financing terrorist groups".

According to circulated news, the panel based its decision on the lack of sufficient legal grounds to continue prosecution, especially as some of the facts lost their political and legal foundations that previously supported the accusations.

The information indicated that the panel saw that the charge of offending a brotherly state was no longer legally valid, as the political situation of that country had changed over the recent years, removing the legal basis of the attributed crime.

As for the charge of financing terrorist groups, the deliberations concluded that the evidence was insufficient, as investigations failed to prove the Lebanese artist’s involvement in any suspicious financial transactions or illegal transfer operations.

Expectations suggest that the upcoming verdict could definitively determine Shaker's legal future and put an end to years of judicial pursuit that have hindered his return to his usual artistic activities.
In related news, there were reports of the artist preparing to release a new song titled "Qamari" in the coming days, and information indicates that the new work was recorded before he turned himself in to the Lebanese authorities in an attempt to demonstrate good faith and return to art as a natural path in his life.
