Khaberni - The security spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Talal bin Abdulmohsen bin Shalhoub, stated that, in light of the proactive security monitoring of criminal networks involved in drug smuggling, the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate for Drug Control, contributed through information provided to the Drug Enforcement Division at the Customs of Malaysia, in thwarting an attempt to smuggle (25) kilograms of cocaine hidden in a shipment of medical devices.
The security spokesperson noted the positive cooperation with the relevant authorities in Malaysia in tracking and controlling narcotics, affirming that the Kingdom continues to pursue criminal activities targeting the security of the Kingdom and its youth with drugs, counteracting and thwarting them, and arresting those involved in them.
